Carl Bloch at the MOA
First, this was not an exhibition of my work.
This exhibition, held at the BYU Museum of Art, featured 5 altarpieces painted by the 19th century Danish painter Carl Bloch from Denmark and Sweden. As part of a team responsible for the museum's educational components, five of us went to Denmark to shoot pictures, film churches, places and Danish culture. We interviewed people about the impact of Carl Bloch in Denmark then and now, and Bloch's importance in the culture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I was able to give creative direction and design on the iPad app and website, and film direction, creative direction, design, and animation on the orientation film.
My cohorts in Denmark (and in the completion of all components) are:
Dawn Pheysey: Curator of the Exhibition, Mastermind
Jeff Sheets: Producer, Fearless leader
Nic Perner: student mastermind/designer/developer
Paul Meyers: Cinematographer deLuxe
